EuroVelo 6, from the Atlantic to the Black Sea, is one of the most popular routes, which is not surprising: coasts, rivers, castles and little difference in altitude make this 4,450 km route an ideal route for any cyclist. From 2004 to 2006, 18 French, German and Swiss partners joined forces to build the western part of this route, from the Atlantic to Ulm. The goal is to follow the course of the three largest European rivers, melting pots of European civilization: the Loire, the Rhine and the Danube. The famous sections of the Loire and the Danube are known to cyclists all over the world, and for good reason. In France, you will taste the best wines after driving through the vineyards. In Vienna you will visit the most beautiful museums and in Serbia you will experience the friendliness of the locals!EuroVelo 6, from the Atlantic to the Black Sea, is one of the most popular routes, which is not surprising: coasts, rivers, castles and little difference in altitude make this 4,450 km route an ideal route for any cyclist.
